Dear Plainfield High School Families, Students and Staff, It is with profound pride and commitment that I introduce myself as your new Principal of Plainfield High School.
My connection to our community is rooted in a long family history of living and working in this town. I am a proud graduate of Plainfield High School, educated here in the Plainfield school system. It’s been a privilege to serve Plainfield Public Schools for over sixteen years in both the classroom, and as Assistant Principal at Plainfield High School, and Plainfield Central Middle School.
Throughout my tenure, I have built strong connections with our staff, students, and many families, which I believe will allow for a seamless transition built upon established relationships. This experience has provided a broad understanding of the educational process and my passion and commitment as your Principal are driven by a desire to collaboratively deliver a diverse educational program that prepares all students for their future, fosters a supportive and engaging atmosphere for everyone in our school and provides valuable opportunities for continuous growth for every student.
Engaging families in their student’s school experience is crucial to positive outcomes related to academics, behavior, and belonging. As your principal, I will work to enhance collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure open lines of communication remain a priority.
I am pleased to share that Ms. Erin Quinn will be joining our team as the Interim Assistant Principal. Ms. Quinn brings a wide range of experience, a strong commitment to student success, and a genuine passion for supporting school communities. Plainfield High School is excited to welcome Ms. Quinn into this role and we look forward to the positive impact she will have on our students, staff, and families.
I am eager to lead Plainfield High School into its next chapter and look forward to charting an exciting future for our school together.
